Here are some of the characteristics which make the use of our thermoelectric units more appealing:
|
Extremely reliable |
Easy to install |
|
Extremely versatile |
Ecological |
|
Extremely compact |
Operate when installed at any angle |
| Easily adaptable to your needs (customised) |
Allow a precise temperature control |
| Reversible (cools off or heats up) |
Can cool gases, liquids or solids |
|
Can be used to directly cool surfaces or components |
Operate also with ambient temperature above 50°C |
| Can remove heat from hermetically sealed enclosures |
Operate with direct current (d.c.) |
|
Extremely silent |
Long life |
|
Immune to vibration |
No need for maintenance |
Compared to traditional cooling systems the Termoelectric Unit has the following limitations:
|
Cooling power being equal, thermoelectric cooling is more expensive, especially for cooling power greater than 200W |
|
If only an AC supply voltage is available, then an AC/DC power supply is required to enable functioning of the ETU |
|
If the required temperature inside the cabinet is lower than that of the outside environment, a suitable insulation of the cabinet walls is required |
|
This is a relatively new technology and so any eventual maintenance and/or assistance requires the intervention of specialised technical support staff |
